Some ofthe most notable references I came in contact with were, Lewis BlackweU's Twentieth-Century Type; Looking Closer edited by Michael Bierut, et. al.; and Jon Wozencroft's The Graphic Language ofNeville Brody 2. These and many other references shaped my tninking and aided me in being able to reach an informed view on the topic oftypographic expression.
